Authors of accepted extended abstracts of papers that are to be presented at the conference are offered the opportunity to publish their full paper in an edited volume published by Springer. Such papers should be submitted by December 1, 2025 and will be subject to a peer-review process.
General Guidelines for Submitting Papers to the Springer Volume
Please use the following general guidelines when submitting your paper to be reviewed for the Springer volume:
- The entire paper – including title, author names, abstract, tables, and references – should not exceed 12 pages or 6,000 words, whichever comes first.
- Use Times New Roman, 11 pt font throughout, except for the paper title (12 pt) and references (5 pt).
- Use single spacing throughout the paper.
- Apply full justification (left and right) for all text.
- Set up the document on US Letter size (8.5 x 11 inches).
- Do not insert extra space between paragraphs.
- Indent the first line of each paragraph by 25 inches, except for the first paragraph after a heading, which should not be indented.
- Follow the margins specified in the template.
- Use headings and subheadings as indicated in the template.
- Section headings should be placed before the following paragraph, preceded and followed by two blank lines. The first paragraph after a heading should not be indented.
- Author names should appear exactly as submitted. Given names should be written in full if provided, or as initials if only initials are supplied. Do not include degrees or professional positions.
- The abstract should summarize the paper’s content and must not exceed 200 words.
- Following the abstract and allowing for two blank lines, indicate the keywords. At least 3 keywords should be Use italics to indicate the keywords.
- Use italics to emphasize words or phrases in the text.
- References should be cited either using author(s) and year in parentheses or numbers in brackets.
- Table captions should begin with Table in bold, followed by the table number in If the table includes previously published material, cite the original source at the end of the caption. Captions should not end with punctuation, and no period should follow the table number.
- Similarly with Figures. Figure captions should begin with Fig. in bold, followed by the figure number in bold.
